Cant flash my 6950 to 6970

Ive followed all these

but it still doesnt work.

When i try flash in ATI winflash i just get "winflash subsystemids mismatch"

When i try run the automated program it says it was successful, i reboot my system and nothing has changed (shaders are still the same)

Also, ive tried the commands in "CMD" but i keep getting an error when i type "cd %USERPROFILE%\desktop\winflash" i just get "The system cannot find the path specified" when i know full well that its there

Which 6950 do you have? Newer models can't be flashed anymore.

There is about 4 different 2GB 6950's:

Stock
Toxic
Dirt 3 Edition(twin fan)
Flex

The only current Sapphire model which is likely to be unlockable is the TOXIC version and that's done with a flick of the BIOS switch.

All the others you've got pretty much no chance.

Even the toxic is not gauranteed - mine can't unlock the extra shaders

Ah alright well thanks for your help, btw it was the Dirt3 edition
