Since last night I've been having problems with internet connectivity. I'm using a Netgear WG311T and Vista Ultimate 32-bit. Whenever I turn on my pc, I have to right click on the icon on the taskbar displaying that theres no connection, then "Diagnose and Repair", then "Start Windows Wireless Service" to repair it. Any idea why this keeps happening?
I was following a guide yesterday for speeding up Vista by disabling/putting certain services on Manual so they arent always on. Could this have affected it? I didnt change many but will go through speedyvista.com and reset everything back to normal settings I think.. other than that I'm all out of ideas. It didnt stop directly after disabling these services, was downloading the 3d Studio Max trial and it just stopped working
Cheers
edit - got the wireless stuff working now. I just set WLAN Autoconfig startup to Automatic instead of Manual.
