Cant get access to secure sites!

Hiya,

I've recently installed windows 7, and for some reason I can't seem to get any secure sites, the page just seems to 'time out. The same thing happens when going to FTP sites in browser.

I've tried the following:
64bit and 32bit installations
different browesers
different settings suggested MS in their 'fix'
Complete format's of the HDD (5 times over now).
Different DVD's (even installed on another computer!)
Every other computer on the network is fine.
Turned Firewalls/defener off.
The router is 100% working.

I've installed it on a HP G60-1153EM (if i remember correctly).


Any help would be great.

Is the date/time set correctly on your pc?

Yes they are set correctly - but windows wont sync to its time server.

I have this problem with a clients machine, it will work fine on another connection though so I'm leaning towards sending them a new router in the hope that it fixes the problem.

Try changing your MTU on your router as our ISP suggested. Didnt work for us though
