cant get ANY form of NAS linux to install on my spare PC

As title, ANYTHING such as freenas, open filer etc just wont ****** install

, just comes up with all sorts errors in command line code, open filer just gets to language selection and crashes :rolleyes:

Iv ran memtest on the pc (Xfx 610i mainboard, pentium e2200 2.2ghz and 2gb ram) and its ran for 8 hours fine, so im fairly sure its not hardware ?!

Without the errors theres nothing much we can mate. What hard drive is it?

Well freenas I don't know where begin....but open filer just hangs at country selection.....I'm trying Ubuntu server now see what that does, so far it's installing fine ?!? ....I want a nas box tho

most advise installing FreeNAS to a USB stick. i'm sure you've already looked but these guys appear to be on the ball

Got it installing by removing the USB mouse....random
