Can't get areo?

Hey all

Just built another machine which is water cooled, running 1bg memory on a amd 3200 with a 6800 PCI-E card. This is a second machine just to mess around with...I am running Vista and Nvidia's latest drivers..no areo theme??

what version of vista are u using?

you may need to go in to control panel, performance information and tools to update your score for aero to work

I did that, now says 2.9. (CPU) and 5.4 (GPU).

Vista Ultimate.

Running any software that is not Aero compatible? I know Adobe Audition 1.5 does that on mine

whats the base score, i think you have to get a certain score for it to become active??

whats the spec of the pc?

Fresh install, no third party software.

Base score is 2.9.

Specs are:

AMD A64 3200
1GB DDR 400
Nvidia 6800GS PCI - E 256MB
250GB Hard Drive.
