Can't get BF 1942 to work !?

Tried to re-install BF 1942 the other night, as a mate of mine has'nt got BF2 but wanted some on-line fun with me.

Re-installed, patched fully and installed DC Final,trouble is, I get a CTD as soon as a map has loaded either on or off-line.

I've tried re-installing, but with the same results.


Any ideas appreciated, and fwiw, BF2 runs just fine!

6800 LE - 84.21 Drivers.
1GB RAM
Audigy 2

i cant help you but i had this with BF:V, as soon as i had installed BF2 vietnam wouldnt work anymore

Hmm, I'll give BF Vietnam a try......
