hi guys im having trouble overclocking my e5200

this is my first time overclocking so if anyone could give me some pointers id
really appreciate it

basically i cant even get it stable at 3.4 ghz with 1.38125 in volts in bios

im using 11 x 9 mult and 310 fsb and everything else set to auto apart from dram volts which are 2.1v

im using prime 95 blend test to test stability

so if anyone could help id be really greatfull

all the best

cheers

What are your temps like when running prime95? (And what is your cooler?)

Also, what are your memory settings/frequency. I would keep the memory frequency as close to 800 or below while trying to get your clock stable. If you're running it over 800 while experimenting - this is very likely to be your problem.

Have you tried using the 12.5 core ratio and a reduced frequency for the same clock value - i.e. 12.5 x 270?
