Can't get into safe mode

I'm trying to boot into safe mode so I can use Driver Sweeper, but everytime I get into Windows Boot Manager the option there is 'Boot Windows 8'.

This is weird because I've been in safe mode loads of times before. What am I doing wrong here?

If you can't boot into safe mode via pre-windows then go into start menu and run msconfig (type msconfig into the search bit). Go into the boot tab and click safe mode, restart your pc and it will go into safe mode. Do the opposite to get out of safe mode i.e. msconfig -> uncheck safe mode box and restart.

I'm able to do it by holding shift and hitting F8 and going through those menus to activate it, can't remember the exact menu though.
