Cant get into UT3 after COD4 MP

I brought UT3 on friday and have played it maxium of an hour over the weekend, I just cant get into it. Meanwhile I have spent at least 4 hours on COD4 MP.

COD4 just seems more addictive, unlocking weapons, ranks etc, I cant keep away from it...

Dont get me wrong, UT3 is better designed in terms of gameplay and graphics but its just lacking something, something COD4 MP is full of.

Anyway else have this issue?

I geuss its because in COD4 you feel as if you are doing something such as getting achievements, new weapons and ranks. Where as UT3 is your basic run and gun game which is pretty fun if you ask me.

Its the other way round for me, much prefer UT3 MP.

UT lacks the frustratement of getting nade spammed, one-shotted in the back, and then respawned in the middle of your own air strike.

i totally agree with the OP.

i got ut3, and found it good. even stoped my cod4 SP for it. and then i tries the cod4MP and i was hooked.

i think the search and destroy game the most rewarding, aswell as the rankings and perks etc. (i am on Sargent II(which i think is 13?))
