Ok, so i'm running a A8V with a AMD 3200, not overclocked. Had some problems recently with my watercooling so I switched back to using a fan on the CPU but there have been no heat or crash issues up till now, even with long-term prime95 use.
So anyway, this week on morning-bootup my computer has been BSOD'ing but then loading normally. I was not too worried and fiddled around uninstalling, doing scandisk, defrag, deleting and cleaning up things to see if anything improved.
So i turn it on today... and it resets before the windows loading screen appears... but then it comes up with the "windows loading was interrupted" screen.
I hit normal boot: It resets before the loading screen.
I hit "last known settings": The same, it resets almost immediately.
I hit safe mode: ditto, it spams a load of disk partition nonsense and resets.
So i stick the Windows CD in. The blue screen comes up, starts loading all the driver stuff and 'starting windows' appears at the bottom .... and the computer resets. Hmm.
Next... I borrow a working HD with windows installed and switch that into my computer. Annoyingly - exactly the same thing happens, despite a different (definately working) install of windows, it won't even go into Safe Mode.
Therefore i'm thinking my HD is actually fine, something else is wrong. The CPU temp is fine in the bios and the fan is spinning merrily.
I'm confused on where to go from here. Help me ocuk
Edit: Okay i've tested both sticks of RAM, its not that either.
