Can't get mem to run at 1866mhz

Hi all,

Upgrade build to..

AMD A6800-K
8GB Patriot Black Mamba 1866
Asus F2-A85X-M le

It runs O.K always at 1666mhz until I try to get full speed from memory then it comes on momentarily, and base unit stays on but monitor goes to stand by. I am using default setup for everything.. ( cos I'm a noobie, and don't know any better !!)
and my Asus BIOS is 5105.

Any help appreciated.

Make sure you set the timings that are specified for the memory kit.

Thanks for reply.

Set to 9-10-9-27 as stated in Patriot spec. below.
Tried 9-9-9-24, but that was no respons at all !

Would it need more voltage, 1.65v?

afaik 1.65v is pretty standard for ram, my ram certainly runs at that voltage
