Can't get network to work

Bit thick when it comes to networking.:confused: :o
As above, this is how it is set up atm one of these Buffalo WHR-G300NV2-EU High Power 11n 300Mbps Main rig wired to a TP-Link 300Mbps Wireless N Access Point (TL-WA901ND) then wireless to second rig with a TP-Link 300Mbps High-Gain Wireless-N USB Adapter (TL-WN822N)
I have tried everything it says in manuals and on the net but I cannot get it set up, Please someone tell me what the beepbeep i'm doing wrong. (make allowances please pushing 60 now :D )

OK lets start with the easy one....
Can you get internet if you plug directly into the buffalo?
When you wireless connect to the TP link, what does the bottom right network icon look like/say or comment on? Mine looks like this...

As you can see, it comments I am connected to my home network and have internet access.

We need to go back to the basic bits and check the simple stuff first to establish that all components are connected properly, then we can start to look into the ins and outs of the settings.

Yes get internet ok, mine says "Network 2 internet access"
just point out I also have my sky hd box connected to buffalo and the connection is fine.
 
Sorted it now by connecting the cable from my router direct to second machine, but I cannot get network access from main rig to other other but I can other way round.
