Just received my OCZ 2GB 2-3-2-5 Platinum sticks today, but can't get them working at all @ CAS 2.

When I stick them on auto, they default to 2.5-3-2-5, and they run flawlessly.

When I stick them to 2-3-2-5, I get THOUSANDS of errors in memtest #5 and can't boot into Windows.

I'm running the system in sig, with the memory in orange slots.

I've tried both OCZ and DFI's recommended memory settings, and whacking the voltage up to 2.8v.

What gives? :(

EDIT - Everything pretty much at default - 10 x 200, 200 divider at the mo

It's not something like the 623-3 BIOS, which was great for my BH5 is it?

Heya matey,

Turns out there's one dodgy stick. :(

One stick runs fine @ CAS 2, the other one produces errors for every single chip (ie 0MB - 1023MB) on test 5.

/goes off to webnote system...

Ordered some G.Skill ZX to tide me over during the RMA.

I'll keep whichever kit is better and post my results.
Got the ZX here, its great stuff :)
Overclocks pretty well too, managed to just about squeeze 240MHz out of them with 2.8v and 2.5-4-3-6

I do wish the OCZ was a lot cheaper when I ordered the G.Skill though, was about a £70 difference when I got these.

I'll compare the two and post a thread.

Wouldn't you be better off with 200 or so @ 2-3-2? I make 240 @ 2.5-4-3 to be ~ 50ns and 200 @ 2-3-2 to be ~ 45ns.
