Hi all !
I recently built the following spec rig -
Ram : OCZ 2GB DDR3 PC3-12800C7 1600MHz Platinum Enhanced Bandwidth (2x1GB) Dual Channel DDR3
Mobo : Asus P5E3 Premium/Wifi@N Intel X48 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard
CPU : Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 LGA775 'Yorkfield' 2.83GHz 12MB-cache (1333
FSB) Processor
CPU Cooler : Tuniq Tower 120-LFB CPU Cooler
Vid Card : Powercolor ATI Radeon HD 4870 PCS Extreme 512MB GDDR5
Power Supply : Tagan PipeRock TG700-BZ 700w Modular BZ Series

My problem is trying to get the Ram to run at the rated speed of 1600mhz!
With the Bios at default state the ram is clocked to the same speed as the CPU which is of course 1333mhz. I have looked through the bios to see if there is a similar option as the Asus Rampage bios to "unlink" the cpu and ram fsbs but it doesn't seem to be in there.
I can't see any option to just change the ram speed without it affecting the speed of the processor, unless of course I drop the multiplier of the CPU and up the FSB, but ideally i would just like to be able to have the 2 unlinked as per the Rampage set-up. :)
Any ideas of changing sopmething in the bios???
I don't have any problems with heat, the CPU is running pretty cool, case temps are good as well.
I dont have a problem if I need to overclock the FSB but it would be good if there is an easy option to just Unlink the 2 ;)

Mucho Grasias for any ideas :)
