cant get online via online lan

Oops I meant 'onboard LAN' not online :/


hi all i just bough an asrock z68 extreme4 motherboard and for some reason it wont let me connect to the internet via the onboard LAN i have checked in the bios to enable it and alls fine there but i have no luck at all getting online (im onlne on my laptop so i know router/modem is fine) cable is ok etc etc. any ideas?

Can you do an ipconfig on the machine and see if you are getting an IP address assigned.

Is it appearing in device manager? Could be a driver problem
