cant get onto internet via I.E. but can via firefox etc

as above, can browse internet msn, wow etc but IE doesn't connect and also cant get into my hotmail inbox via msn messenger live. just started after i changed my isp (i have two net connections in my house)

any ideas?

Take the lack of IE as an advantage

Serious answer - have you got IE in 'work offline' mode? Is it configured to use a proxy?

not got in offline mode and not using a proxy :/ any other ideas?

Forget about it. IE's terrible anyways.

(Are you at work or home? how are you connected? have you restarted?)
