Can't get optimal resolution?

Hey hey!

I just rearranged my room, which involved taking all the leads out of the back of my computer and moving it. Got a 5850 in there, and when I started up my computer again the resolution was efffed in the aaay. CCC won't offer me the correct res' (1680x1050) and I've tried uninstalling - registry clean out - delete ATI folders - reinstall, (using latest drivers) but still no joy. This might be a RIDICULOUSLY retarded question but could the fact that I swapped to a different VGA cable have anything to do with it?

Yeah I swapped the cables back. It was a pain because my computer's so damned heavy, but I did it, and yeah, problem solved.
