I've been given a pair of Comtrend 9020 pass-through adapters
They came without manuals or instructions and should have stickers on them with their ip addresses but they are missing
A quick search online yielded the manual. Using that i've got them both paired
One is set as AP with the router attached and the other is set as a slave with a computer attached.
Now the router can find the initial AP adapter and I can access its settings by typing in the IP address(my router shows its IP as an attached device)
However, no matter what I try, whatever is plugged into the slave adapter doesn't have any internet access. It gets an automatic IP address(not 192.168.1.#) and so it has no network access and due to not obtaining an IP is clearly not able to access the DHCP (my router ofc)
I've tried switching the adapters round, doing factory resets on both and changing the other to AP. I've changed cables and devices but to no luck.
Both show they are paired and connected to each other at full connection(green LED for pairing) both when next to each other and also when in different rooms.
Can anyone please put my misery to an end?
