Can't get rid of spyware, please help

Hi guys,

My bother has got a nasty virus/spyware on his pc. It opens extra IE windows to various or blank sites and freezes the pc. He has Nod32, spybot and Ad-aware but theese cant get rid of it. Below is the HijackThis log, any help please.

Get rid of these for a start.

Nothing there looks nasty to me, though.

that turns up no entries, do a backup using hjt, then remove that..

hey dude you have a Vundo infection it looks like.

Ignore the previous posters requests to remove the "no file" lines, they are normal progs and the "no file" does not indicate a problem.

Your problem is this line:

Rather than me type out the instructions for getting rid of this problem, follow all the instructions in this post at pcpitstop and you should be good to go.

Dont miss any steps no matter how pointless they seem or if your problems seems to stop, a lot of the steps will help you not get infected next time.

Got rid of the bugger using vundofix and AVG Anti-Spyware. Wonder why the so-called great Nod32 didn't pick it up.

Is it setup correctly? There are some options which need to be set manually to give you "better" protection.

No 1 piece of Anti Virus or Anti Spyware is 100% perfect, but not NOD is fairly close.
