had it running ok on 3.3 using 1.38 volts, tried 3.4 using 1.38 volts but it failed prime in seconds,so tried 1.4v wich also failed instantly in prime, was using 377 x 9 to give 3400.had memory running at 836.

anything else i can try?

Drop the memory multiplier down to x2.0 til you've finished clocking the CPU.

Raise your FSB voltage by 0.1v and see if it has any effect.

If it doesn't then you may just have to keep upping the vcore.

got it going at 377 x 9,using 1.4 Volts,using cpu-z,my voltage keeps flickering from 1.28/1.34/1.36,it should just be showing 1 voltage shoud'nt it ?

It will flicker when load is applied, especially if you have Speedstep, EIST and C1E enabled in BIOS.

Nothing special, but better than the 1.325v ones that seem to be the most common atm.

ok,i just ran prime on small ftt,and the 3rd core failed instantly, should i up the voltage just a little bit ?

If its anything like my board, then the nb strap setting does matter. I have have 3 versions of the 2x memory multi a,b,d and only 2d is stable enough to go high on the fsb.
