AMD 64 3500+ Winnie
ECS nforce4 a939 Motherboard (Latest Bios)
2 x 1Gig of 3200 DDR OCZ Platinum

It will boot with 1 stick only. Put 2 in and its beeping and no display. I aint got a clue about timings and whatever else! Just posting incase someone had same sorta setup and knew what to recommend.

Have you tried both sticks on their own? and have you tried both sticks in ALL slots on their own?

Based on that you can eliminate whether you have either:

1. Faulty memory module
2. Faulty motherboard

This is wierd,I am haveing the same problem with a foxconn mb,e6300,and giel value memory. either stick in any of the 4 slots no probs both sticks together in any combination total b***s up.

high end ram often needs the voltage upping to work properly

boot with 1 stick if that works, up the voltage to the recommended voltage for the ram and try again.

Ram issues....

You may be getting the same issue as me (See thread http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17687833).

Try reducing ram speed manually to 166mhz or putting the ram in slots 2&3 instead of 1&2, this will automaticly reduce speed.

I'm still trying to find an answer for my issue but I did read somewhere that theres a possiblity of early AMD 64 chips not supporting two double sided ram chips at full speed. Dont know if anyone has any further details?

Found an answer to mine. I think your mobo is a new socket than mine tho.

If your mobo has 3 ram slots (single channel), try using slots 1 and 3.
