Can't hear voice chat in CSS

hi.

I cant hear anyone speaking when they try to speak in Counter strike source? why is this, ive looked everywhere but cant find any setting to enable voice chat. there names come up in the corner like there speaking but i cant hear them.

Control panel - hardware and sounds - sounds, what's listed as playback? Does it play anything, like music, windows sounds etc? It's probably muted.

Have you checked steam voice settings etc?
