Guys,
Havin a problem installing the latest 91.47 forceware display drivers for my XfX 7950GX2. The installation detects the card then the monitor goes into standby. The monitor light flashes and the screen goes black, the PC remains on though.
I have to restart in safe mode to remove the drivers.
To be honest I remember having same prob with 91.37 forceware, had to install NGO optimized driver 91.37 to get it to work.
I have tried both NGO and Forceware 91.47 drivers with no joy.
I have installed the 6.86 chipset drivers first then the Display drivers and vice versa with no luck.
What am I doing wrong. Its doin me head in

Is that not something to do with the card switching to a different display output ? I've read something similar on the 7950X2's but can't remember if there was a fix for how to do it.

Oh aye, someone said to try and position the mouse on where the ok box would appear and when the screen goes blank try and hit the mouse button, or something, and see if it finishes the installation and allows the screen to come back on.

This also happens to me and monitor displays "no signal" BUT it does come back on its own about 5 seconds later, This is with my new 7900Gx2. never happened with my 7800gtx.

Also i had to uninstall 91.47 and go back to 91.37 as both control panels kept crashing

Cheers Guys, I will try the placing of the mouse pointer.
To be honest having probs with mobo now, but thats for a new post I feel

Well I have just done a fresh re-install of windows.
I attempted to install 91.47 and no luck. There is no ok button to even click. What on earth is wrong, its got to be my graphics card.
