Can't install bioshock

The game installs fully then it starts an 'auto patcher' which gives an error saying patch installing failed file corrupted click next to retry or cancel (closes install winzard and all game files disappear)

I've checked on google and everywhere says to disable AVG but I don't have any anti virus installed. Funny thing is the game installed fine last week, on the same pc. What did I do in the meantime? Reformat and changed gpu to gtx 670.

Any ideas why it won't install? I've tried around 4-5 times and get the same error each time, used ccleaner to remove all temporary files but no luck. Wasting my ssd writes

anybody? this is really irritating me. going to have to install windows again if I can't figure it out.

Hiya, Instead of running the auto patcher have you tried installing the patch yourself?

Yep but then found out the patch it auto installs is one which can't be downloaded.

I just tried installing it and have the same problem. It did work a few months ago.

I give up. I've tried turning off the Firewall, MSE, Windows Defender. Running as Admin, even though I am Admin. Copying the game files so they can't be deleted and then running the patch. But all the game files aren't installed.

So now this and Crysis I can't play due to stupid activation problems.

I was able to install it last week. I wonder if its a problem with 2K now and not my computer?
