ok i just got an Asrock 775Dual-vsta, c2d e6300, geil 2gig and corsair 520W psu. I also have 320gig WD sata HDD, nvidia 6200(don't worry changing it as soon as shops reopen).
i have built the whole computer but i don't know what to do now, the bios setting already done i thought i would put in the disk that came with the mobo, but how do i run it? i put it in and set the dvd drive to the boot up device but it said wrong boot up restart and insert right disk, what am i suppost to put in?
cheers

a lot of new motherboards come with the sata controller built in so you dont need to install serial ata drivers. try the windows disk. if it works great :) if it dont it will just say cant find hdd or something and can then go from there.

If you're using SATA RAID you'll need a set of the RAID drivers on a floppy and you press F6 when it tells you to when installing Windows.

where do i get the raid driver from?

should not need this if only installing a sata drive without raid, just install windows should pick it all up. then when installed, install chipset drivers then g, card & windows updates, then anything u want
