Ok just got a graphics card second-hand from shop 9600GT, put it in and downloaded latest drivers from Nvidia and when it tries to install its telling me it cant find the card.

Pci-Express standard root port showing a yellow sign and saying This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)

If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system.

So thought it might be a windows problem so I installed a fresh windows 7 64bit on other hard drive and still having same problem.

Motherboard Name ECS MCP73VT-PM
windows 7 ultamate 64bit
4 gig Ram
G_Card 9600GT (cant install)

I havent got onboard graphics connected at all just the PCI-E and cant see any thing in Bios concerning the problem.

Can you test the card in another system?

Being second hand the card might be faulty or your motherboard might need a BIOS update.

1. Device manager > view > show hidden devices

2. Uninstall the display adapters

3. Restart the computer with the card in and the system will rebuild the Device stack and you should find the issue fixed.

4. Update to the latest drivers.

No option to disable on-board graphics
Got the board second hand from a shop
psu= ZS series 750wat 80+bronze

Youre PSU is ok, id say youre in need of a new motherboard.

From what ive googled it seems this board came as part of a prebuilt acer system, so its probably got a locked down bios :(
