Can't install GTA Vice City

Hi guys. I ordered GTA Vice City and it arrived today, however the game won't launch the setup installation. When open setup.exe it says "Data error (Cyclic redundancy check)"

Any ideas what's up? I bought it of a seller of Amazon, could it be dodgy or something? I am running Vista btw.

Try running in administrator mode

hmm a bit of research indicates that a CRC error means a dodgy disk.

Try cleaning it and trying again

It is a proper full DVD version isnt it?

Most of the google responses say the CRC error means either a dirty disk or a dodgy game with has either been copied or corrupted

Well it came sealed in one of the small square shaped PC cases, with the manual outside of it..Seems odd.

CRC usually means a problem with the disk, try cleaning it, and another optical drive (I've seen cases before where a disk will crc on one drive but not another).
