Cant Install new Drivers???

Hey guys

Just got my 670 and im trying to install the new nvidia. drivers

ive uninstalled the old ati and driver swept. I keep getting an error saying cant install drivers no matter what configuration i select for install on my new nvidia drivers.

Any ideas?

Shouldn't have need to driver swept. Uninstalling the old AMD drivers through control panel/device manager is enough. Sounds like the driver cleaner messed something up.

na that wouldnt have done it, driver sweeping is common practice and only touched old AMD files as i checked. done it a million times

Also just tried the V1 6XX series drivers and its installing fine so far, looks like a problem with the latest 6XX releases? anyone else have issues? Id rather run the newest drivers if possible!


edit: the newest drivers installed over the top of the older drivers, wierd problem but seems all ok now!

yea seems to be a lot of problems with these cards hopefully it all sorts out

hey guys here are my gpu-z specs, this all look good for a 670 Asus TOP Edition?

I dont remember much from graphics cards having been away for a couple of years. is it worth overclocking it at all as its already factory OC ?
