Hello
Firstly thank you to anyone who takes their time replying

So I built my first computer (woopy) had a mobo issue but got a new motherboard and it posts fine now. I had windows vista ultimate installed on my hd to work with the previous hardware and when I installed the new mobo it failed to start windows. Not unusual as it was installed on different hardware so I decided to format my hd and do a clean install of windows. Problem is now that it's stuck on the "windows is loading files..." the bar gets to the end and then just stops. Tried leaving it there for an hour and it just does nothing. Maybe my hardwares at fault, so I tried looking at my ram first of all, strangely it posts using both sticks (specs to come) doesn't post using just one and posts using the other stick.
Tried using a different external 1tb hd and that had no difference. The disk is fine also as it installed only a couple weeks ago on my 'old' system.
Had a good look around the internet and couldn't find any answers that worked for me. Would appreciate any advice you guys have on this issue.

Asus f1a75m-LE
Amd a8 3870 3.0ghz
Asus 6770 gpu
1x4gb excelleram + 1x8gb Kingston

Again, many thanks for your time

Hi, my guess is that it could be your SATA port mode, or AHCI drivers are needed due to the mode it is currently trying to use. That's what usually causing issues around that point as far as I can remember.

I think I had this problem due to a USB device was plugged in but with Windows 7.

Trying unplugging everything except the keyboard and see how it goes then.

Okay I removed all USB besides my keyboard and external DVD/cd drive and it got past the loading bar. Then blue screened and says "acpi driver internal"
