Can't install Windows 7 on Aurora R4

Hope this is the right section.

Doing a job for a client where one of the HDDs failed and got told it was a simple job of replacing the HDD and reinstalling Windows 7. I get there and it's one of these Alienware Aurora R4s, hence why I need some help.

Upon putting the new HDD in and creating new a RAID array, I'm having the issue where I can't install the RAID drivers to continue with the Windows 7 installation. I'm getting something along the lines of the screenshot below.

Any pointers? Like I say I've got the drivers on my pen drive but they're not having any of it, it's driving me absolutely insane.

Try using a different USB port ie USB2 instead of 3. I had that the last time i installed windows and pretty sure that was how i got round it.

Are the raid drivers extracted to a folder? It will need the .inf file

If you're having issues with it. Download this..
http://driverpacks.net/driverpacks/windows/7/x64/mass-storage/12.12.1

Then put that on a usb stick (when extracted) and point the installer at it.

I can't remember if the windows installer will scan sub folders or if you'll need to try each sub folder your self

Yeah they're on a folder and everything. Hadn't thought about 2.0/3.0 ports, will check it out.
