Yo, I have a asus laptop with two USB 3.0 no 2.0 ports.. I have Kingston 32gb 3.0 stick. When I try to install windows I get the error that there is no drivers... So I did add USB 3.0 drivers to my installation, Installation went normally but on the last screen "Finishing Installation" I get stuck at around 75% and then after 20 to 30 min I get blue screen.. Any ideas how to fix it? I have no options in bios to change USB settings..

I dont have uSB 2.0 port or stick... so without adding usb 3.0 drivers to installation I cant do a thing but when I do I get blue screen at the end of installation.

4 different versions of windows and 3 different USB sticks still no bloody drivers found. Now just last one to go... In a second I will go on torrents and downland every version there is and try it out... If Microsoft have a problem with that they can have my CD key.. as now its useless....

Yes I did...

On my nephew's PC with an MSI mobo, the manual states that due to chipset limitations, Windows 7 doesn't support installation from a USB stick. Windows 8 and above do.

That is not the case here, I did have windows 10, 8 and 8.1 on it with no problems.. My last windows was 7 but the was problem with infected files so I did wipe the whole drive. Nothing its left.

More info laptop asus x552cl it has two 3.0 usb ports nothing more. Without usb 3.0 drivers no way to start the installation. SO now I need to get a way off adding drivers without corrupting installation.

Is there anything useful on the BSOD you can show us? Perhaps take a photo? Have you checked the drive for errors using chkdsk? Are you telling Windows setup to format the drive each time you install?

Copying Windows files: Passed ok

Exapnding Windows files: Passed ok

Installing Featuers: Passed ok

Installing Updates: Passed ok

Completing Installation: Failed blue screen

BSOD - 0x0000007E

As you can see it fails after restart and when is finishing installation. Only version with usb drivers will let me to install but fails at the end. I think I'm using wrong drivers but not sure... I have spend all day trying to fix it.

Just to let you guys know I did fix it but its not perfect. Windows cant be activate with original key, wifi is cutting off now and then, USB ports are not working properly. So yeaa... wast of my time, sorry guys but I did explain it to my mate, he will use it for a bit and buy a new one.
