lol, had exactly the same problem a while back -too much sex ;)

Seriously, the only thing you can and should do is get more sleep- unless of course you are falling to sleep cos of sheer boredom in your job.

I would think taking caffeine etc. is not a good thing to do.

if the guys about to fall asleep at his desk and needs to be awake fast i cant think of anything better :p

Lol this job couldnt be any better, just having a lazy day, went out drinking and bowling last night with work friends!

I guess management training at 18 can be tedious though

i always thought sugary foods just gave you a hit then slammed you back down hard.

when i was pulling late ones at uni, i used to make a drink it consisted of honey, grapefruit juice (freshly squeezed) apple juice and a small about of boiling water. (it was advised to me by someone who knows about food)

this along with plenty of nuts, banana's... it seemed to work anyway (not sure if it was placebo or not)

but i think the best advice would be slow release energy like nuts, banana’s etc

Get more sleep (8 hours per night), drink plenty of water (2.5 litres/5 pints per day), and make sure you're eating right.

That will have you sorted.

I thought he meant he had problems for a while now, not just today. From his first post it appeared he could have been suffering for a while, rather than just today.

If its just today then ride it, im sure many of us have been into work without having sleep the night before.

Go and sit on the toilet and sleep for 15mins ;)

I have had it over the last week, I guess one late night repeats on you and leaves you begging to catch up. gonna chill this weekend and see how it goes. gonna start exercising too :(

How long have you been at your new job?

It usually take people who start where I work (6am to 3pm) about two to three weeks to adjust.

Are you obese? I agree with platypus, start a regular exercise programme. You'll feel much better for it.

I have been at my job since the 3rd of Jan
(just over 2 weeks)

lol, i need a new sig, anyone artistic and feel like making me a nice sig? It would brighten up my day, been so low since my mentor died. :(

I dont have access to photoshop/paintshop at work you see!

:)

Sleep roughly 8 hours a night, eat breakfast a small lunch and a reasonable dinner, don't snack. Eat a piece of fruit an hour or so before bed, and do some walking. That should help.

Failing that some of the old white snorting stuff.

I find the best way is to keep active. Get up and go for a wander for a few minutes every hour or so. Also not letting yourself become dehydrated can help too.

Should be no problem for at a gig unless you stand still all the time :p
