I have the Mal/Generic-L virus on my Windows 7 home pc and I can't get rid of it with any of the anti virus programs I have tried (AVG, AVAST, SOPHOS) I have even gone into Safe mode and run AVG with no luck. I have also gone online and seen which files and registry entries they tell you to remove but when I do a search none of them are found?? So I am well confused. I am thinking a complete wipe and reinstall is in order but thought I would ask just incase.
