Hopefully this hasn't been done before.
After doing a reinstall i usually have to start downloading all the essentials again as i am never organised enough to actually burn them to cd. So i thought it's about time i made a cd of all the useful applications i use/need. That got me thinking of asking you guys what freeware you consider to be essential? For me so far i have the usual suspects

RealPlayer
Quicktime
AVG
Adobe Reader
Gimp
Azeurus
Divx
Knowing that there are some well clued up people on this forum, perhaps you could tell me what your essential freeware is as i am sure there is tons of good stuff that i've never even heard of before.
