I bought for my old pc a new cheap gpu just for the hdmi port so i can use it as a media center. I used to have a 4870 on and now i got a 5450 but just because it has the hdmi. The thing is when i remove my 4870 and put the new one on the pci-e the pc turns on but nothing is showing on the screen, and the hd or the cpu doesnt seem to make those noises when you turn the pc and the fans speed up and down or the hd doesnt do any sound at all. Ive send the hard to check it that it might didnt work but it worked fine to the retailer.
I tried using it as a second card also but that prevent the computer to work again, even with the 4870 as a primary card.
By the way it works fine with the 4870.
My motherboard is an A8R32-MVP Deluxe Asus with 4gb ram.
Any ideas what should i try? Anything i need to change in bios?
