Heya

im using a 1080p 144hz monitor on a single gtx980 and want to upgrade to a new monitor

or

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-070-AS

ive had the samsung 4k and the asus 4k and both got returned due to issues (they were running off 295x2 & 290x)

ive had an Asus 1440p before which was excellent and i only sold it to get the 4K screens above. now i have the itch to move from 1080p again .. but love the 144hz because of no screen tear .. again read mixed review on both and ill prolly buy another 980 for sli in the future so power wont be a massive issue

decisions decisions.. what do you guys think?

lot of cash for a 1440p monitor though .. hmmmm
Am also interested in the Asus PG278Q ROG Swift 27" but feel that it priced far to high for just a 1440p TN panel monitor...

And know asus has only given it this crazy high price because they know people will pay it because there no other monitors available like it..:(

^^^ Agree, regardless of how good it is claimed to be it is way to much for me to justify on a TN panel (or any other really for that price) for a screen of such size etc).
At half the price I might have considered it.

At 500 notes i would have defo gone for it, especially when you can pick up a 4k panel at that range with g-sync

Would miss the144 hz but I suppose at 4k I ain't gonna hit 60fps

owned a 4K, have switched to the ROG
yes it is expensive but having got one you could not pry it from my cold dead hands

it is sitting next to a 1440p IPS which can't hold a candle to it, "because TN" is not really a thing anymore

That's what I'm thinking , still can't make up my mind .. Doh!

Have sat in front of the ROG swift at my mates house and it a great piece of kit.
Would I like one, hell yeah.
But not at its current price, even with the "THIS WEEK ONLY OFFER" :)
Mind you its £617 somewhere else, hmmm, no I cant do it. :(
