cant open any programs

Hey

Now my problem is very annoying. Recently i brought day of defeat source. When i played it where sound effects came from there were white wire boxes flying everywhere. So i decided to remove my GFX drivers and update them. Removed the display driver and the dashboard then restarted the pc.

I then tried installing the latest drivers off the ATI AMD site and it'll unpack it self but wont install. It just dissapears and nothing happens. I cant open any apps and my task manager doesnt open. Sounds like a virus but my AVG is up to date. What else can i do? At the moment im stuck in windows with no GFX drivers.

I tried to install the new drivers myself (7.1s I think), had loads of problems with them like the monitor would turn off on the display when trying to open things, your rig is simular to mine, so all i did was install 6.9s and now its fine.
