Cant Open this App odd problem

Hi,

I've got an odd problem with games that I have installed via Xbox Gamepass App for PC. They were installed on one of my hard drives, but I wanted to move the games to another drive. I used the Move option within windows settings which I thought would do the job.

However these are now showing as greyed out and when I try to run these games I get a message in a blue box

"This app cant run because its offline - the storage drive might be missing or disconnected"

Looking around Microsoft Windows help does not actually seem very helpful, seems to be refernces to getting admin access to a WindowsApps folder, but so far ive had no luck with this.

Anyone had this issue

Xbox app needs to have drives / folders explicitly specified as valid locations to install/store game data on them.

If you Google how to store your games on a different drive, you should see guides on setting allowable locations.

Perhaps that is your issue in that where you have moved the data to, Xbox app does not consider as valid. (Yet)
