what have i done! im so very confused, i have been overclocking fine for a while and for some reason it has stopped letting me do it!
in my bios i go into the power bios section, change the clock speed of the processor, save and exit, like i always do. Its shows the new fsb and cpu clock in the post as normal, starts to boot windows as normal, but in windows its showing my cpu as its default speed! normaly i would say this is a windows problem but its not, its an actual issue. I have a status monitor running for my cpu and its saying its temp is 30c i know for a fact that my processor wouldnt be at that temp at the clock i gave it. I have tried going back changing the clock and voltage but all my changes seem ignored.
Please can someone let me know what i am doing wrong, i honestly cant work it out
