Cant play BF2

im trying to play BF2 but it keeps freezing on the login part. Anyone else have tghis problem?

ii have restarted many times and i just get the same thing over and over

BF2 is buggy. Reinstall it. If this doesn't work, reinstall it again. That's all you can do. Unless this is the one time that BF2 isn't actually at fault in which case I'm clueless.

Seems odd we both have the exact same problem tonight, maybe its the gayspy login server

I have been playing for a few hours. Then I logged out and then try to log back in.

The server is probably gone pear shaped

well that just sucks.

a bit OT but does anoyone know if its possible to use my VOIP phone to talk on when playing BF2?

would be good as i dont have the money ATM for a headset

They've just released the latest/last BETA for 1.4 apparently.

Just logged in a few mins ago and it seems to have sorted itself out.

Had it a few times trying to set up a LAN this weekend, on several peoples computers. After 5 or 6 attempts it worked.

Is anyone else having problems loosing their connection?

I have a 1mb line and and it is sent via wireless to my room.

Everytime I play BF2 I can get a few games in and then I keep loosing my connection.

When I check the wireless strength I am still getting fairly decent speeds and a fairly good signal strength.

I checked the BF2 forums and according to the posts it is something to do with the 1.3 patch.

Is anyone else experiencing this? It driving me nuts

Not only servers crashing but some people with high specs cant even play
