I mean come on i paid for it why cant i play it !

duh, dont you think i tried that I'm not stupid you know.

now can anyone help me rather than state the bleeding obvious.

been like it for couple of days now

thats all it says all my other steam games run fine. I have reinstalled my os onto new build but i never download/reinstall my steam folder as its like 30+ gb never had this trouble before.

Close steam down and delete the clientregistry.blob file. Then restart steam and it should attempt to connect to a different server with hopefully a better rate of transfer. You'll find this particular file in the root of your steam folder, which for me is E:\Games\Steam :)

Dunno if the above would help (back up the old file first)
It could be that steam is having a bad night, Im using it for the first time ever, and I have been downloading TF2 for 5 hrs now and am still 25% off a finished game, and had to reconnect multiple times. Not that impressed so far...

No way - Bioshock is wicked, very atmospheric

Doesn't mean it's not boring, bored me so much I un-installed it about half way through. The only part remotely interesting to me was when the swan lake music, or whatever it was, played and all the monsters attacking you after you got all the pictures for that guy.

I agree with the above poster, it just didn't inspire like it should have, and i think that was mainly down to the gameplay. I mean, fighting big daddies should have been intense, instead it was crap because your character obviously forgot to empty the water out of his boots as he left the sea.

Either that or he had 2 left feet as a genetic defect.
