Argh pulling my hair out again

I'm running these

All through HDMI to one of these

However I can't get any blu-ray player software to work

TM5 trial just plays the copyright then stops
Cyberlink trial won't play
Power DVD tells me my system is not accelerated then just asks me for a load of info for the BR
DA Player wont actually select the DVD it just opens the DVD as folders

I'm about to sling it out the window, I spent ages understanding and upgrading what I've got to play Blu-Rays

Tried a couple of BRs and I'm on W7 if that makes any difference

Thanks

so the drive you bought was oem didnt come with any full software suite?

tbh i know very little about this (i would have thought it would be as easy to play br as it is to play dvd) but now looking at it, it seems you need to have updated software suite to play br's, are the trials u using fully updated and patched?

Yes I bought a drive from Ebay with no software just the drive

I don't want to spend £60 on some software to find it doesn't work that's why I downloaded the trails first

damn, have you considered trying to rip the blu rays and play from your hd? (although it seems this is also a lot of hassle) ... i think the idea that you have you have to spend x amount of money on a blu ray drive only then to have to fork out more for software to play it is pretty ridiculous

Just updated the firmware from HP for the drive, no difference

Don't really want to mess around ripping things just want to drop it in and play
