Cant play crysis on new system with steam

Hi guys so ive just built a new pc, with the new w7 release as an os. (64 bit)

Ive just installed steam and purchased the crysis pack but for some reason it wont work. After launching it just hangs at a black screen? I definitely have the newest drivers for my cards and more than enough capability to run it.

What do you think the problem could be? Is is something to do with the fact its trying to run on a 64 bit os?

nope, I have it running fine on Win7 x64.

What spec is your machine, and what drivers are you using?

evga x58 mobo
6gb ocz reaper ram
2x asus 4890s
1tb samsung f1 hdd.

Have just installed the newest drivers from the ati website.
