I've got an email from a new house insurance policy, I wanted it stated that our house has a large area of flat roof which will be covered by the policy( many insurers won't) & the email confirms this. However the policy itself doesn't mention it altho they assure me that it is stated on the policy lodged with AXA.

I want to print out the email but it won't print the part I want, I cut & pasted the bit I want onto another blank document but when I press print it starts to print the whole 2 pages still without the bit I want & it just leaves it blank.

How can I print the whole thing ? what the heck is this email comprised of ?

will a screen print + mspaint work just aswell?

Im going to guess that it is a combined html and plain text email. I would copy to word and print normaly. Check the security zone settings inside outlook (i guess your using this?)

you could try saving the file into another format then opening to print that way.

no matter what text editor I cut & paste into it still won't print the part I want, i.e. the paragraph detailing my property, it only prints all the other stuff on the email.
Print preview shows the whole of the text but when it prints it's missing the bit I want.
In the end I've just resorted to taking a screen shot & printing that so if my house burns down I can hopefully prove I was covered for the flat roofs

It could be your print drivers if it is displaying correctly in print preview.

Its not a fix but its a pretty work around and might come in handy for future things:

Use CutePDF (http://www.cutepdf.com/products/cutepdf/Writer.asp) to create a pdf document. The good thing about this software is that it creates a virtual printer so to generate the pdf select print and select the cutepdf printer. it will look like its about to print but then a "save as" box will appear and then you can print the pdf to your normal printer.
