Can't Reinstall BF2

I have a small problem in the way that i can't reinstall BF2. I haven't played it in ages and thus needed the 1.3 patch. I downloaded it but it wouldn't install. The green setup screen would flick on then off and set up wouldn't start.

I uninstalled the game then tried to reinstall, but once again the green set up screen flashes on for a second then sort of crashes and disappears. Has anyone got any ideas? Sorry for being a bit vague, it's the best description i can give. Thanks in advance

Maybe try another download it could be damaged. The patch itself also takes sometime to install so leave it for 5mins

Well the problem now is installing BF2, but i will try that with the patch if/when i can get BF2 installed.

You may have traces of the old installation still there. Try the tool above.

Yep, traces of the old installation still on my HD. Cheers mate, sorted now.
