Can't remove search provider!

Somehow "Search powered by Ask" has appeared in my IE7 search box.

I have tried to remove it via the usual method in IE7, also via the registy (in safe mode aswell)

But each time after I open and close IE7 it comes back!

I've done a Spyware search using Search and Destroy but it says I'm fine.

Please help me get rid of "Ask!".

Have you got anymore search providers there?? If that is the only seach provider then you will have to add another to delete that one.
Whats the path in the registry for the key your deleting??

You could probably use "hijackthis" to do a search and then a selected removal of it.
