Cant "Remove" Steam Games.

Hi There.

I downloaded Two Demos via Steam, months ago. Anywho, I deleted them months ago via the "Delete Local Content" button on Steam, they where gone from my list. I was browsing Add/Remove Programs this evening and I saw them both in there, taking up space "So it says", click remove, just opens steams to the "My Games" page, nothing I can do in there.

Had a quick browse in the Steam folder, found the folders they where both in, nothing in them, deleted them, went back to Add/Remove Programs to find they are still there but now its displaying no data about them.

Bugging Me!

try ccleaner.

Go to the 'Tools' section, 'uninstall', 'run uninstaller'. That'll probably be the same as the add/remove programs you've already tried but also in there there is a 'delete entry' option that should get rid of it.

And while you've got it installed also run the normal clean up and the registry checker bit to make sure there's no old entries kicking around for the games.
