Can't run Active X controls?

I'm trying to get the EA downloader running, however when I fire it up - it tells me that Flash isn't installed on my system (it is?), but takes me to Adobe's website anyway.

I press install and I keep getting the yellow bar at the top saying my security settings do not allow Active X controls to run. I temporarily disabled Kaspersky Internet Suite, then tried again. But no change.

I then went into IE 7's security options and allowed the Active X controls to prompt me instead of disabled. Still nothing.

Does anybody have any ideas what's going on?

Ok, this is utterly annoying now.

I have enabled all Active X controls to run (not just in I.E but in my computer generally) and I'm still getting "you've disabled them" styled error messages

Never mind solved it, mods can close this if you want.
