Cant run older 3D bench tests?

Recently got hold of a P4 3.6Ghz ... My first PCIE system ,and my first Intel for a while.

Not overly impressed with it to be honest, however, trying to give it some time before I get rid of it, I have thrown 2GB at it, and running Raid to try to improve its disk speed, and killed off MCE and thrown XP Pro, and currently XP64 in the hope of trying to get it to be as quick as my Duron 750 ( Joke ) but one thing thats gettign to me...

Originally, its had a Rad X700LE in it, but I was unable to play 3DMark 2000 ( It would sort of hang on it ) and 2001 tries, but fails to run.

I have now got it an X800GTO and its still the same... I just cannot run older 3D Mark programs, or AquaMark either?

Anyone know why this is?

They play just fine on my AMD / AGP setups, but not on this Intel / PCI one?

Just wondering if its me, or the system thats failing something???

Could well be an XP64 bit issue!

No, I have XP64 on it now, but it wont run in XP PRo or MCE either!

Mobo is an Asus P5GD1-FM, CPU is a P4 Prescott 3.6Ghz, GFX is Saphire x800GTO - not clocked at all... Only just had it ( Yet another Waste of money ) but it also does it on the X700LE ( The one that came with it ), and its got 4x512MB Samsung RAM and it does it no matter what RAM or how much.

Its bloody annoying.

I got 5330 Marks on 3DMark 05, which isnt good cos the Rad9800Pro gets slightly better than that on my AMDs, but I want to compare it with older results not new ones.

Oh, and its also doing similar with UT & UT2004... Plays for a bit but then the game sort of hangs... Black screen, music tries to play, but things are obviously not right, cos I never seem to die yet the rest of the game seems to half carry on???

Could the Mobo be the issue?
