Can't save in Tomb Raider Legends

This game is proving to be a real pain in the backside and I don't want to get to the point where I spend a large portion of my life trying to defeat Takamoto.

I don't know if it's Vista or a flaw in the game but if I save a game it will always just take me back to the last checkpoint on reload. I've spent about an hour trying to defeat Takamoto and I'm about to give up, this game is losing all enjoyment

If I remember correctly, the shotgun is your friend for this boss. Just run towards him, keeping the cursor locked on, and shoot when in range.

If you look at his animation you can tell when he is going to fire at you, just be prepared to jump out of the way.

It's not that difficult, honestly!

No - thanks. I got past him last night. Didn't have a shotgun so just used pistols instead.

The bosses were an awful attempt to lengthen a short game in my opinion, I sure hope Anniversary doesn't suffer the same
